In my small shop on the Maine coast, I combine traditional methods of forging steel with modern welding technology to produce custom metalwork for homes and gardens.  I make fire screens, tools, outdoor furniture, railings, gates and more to your custom specifications and incorporate native wood and stone into the designs for both function and aesthetics.  I use a variety of finishes including a traditional linseed oil and beeswax mixture for fire tools and powder coating, a quality baked on finish, for outdoor work.
